Maureen Scheuerman - 5th District UPT Council
Maureen Scheuerman is running for the open Council position in the 5th District of UPT that was recently filled for a 1 year term in a special election in 2024.​​​
Maureen Scheuerman has lived in Upper Providence for 35 years. A lifelong "DELCO girl", she graduated from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science before beginning her career in the pharmaceutical industry. Shortly thereafter, Maureen and her husband Tom moved to Upper Providence and raised their 4 children here. For the past 15 years, Maureen has worked
as an administrative assistant at Saint Mary Magdalen School
where she immensely enjoys working with families, faculty, staff
and especially the kids. Maureen has served on the UPT5 board of election in various roles, the last 10 as Judge of Elections.
"Volunteering within our community has been a lifelong passion of mine. From the time my children were small, I was volunteering with Media Little League and the Boy Scouts of America. My efforts were not only for my children but also for the betterment of our community as a whole. I believe we live in a special place, and I want to encourage a greater sense of community, safety, and pride in our neighborhood. I feel that by working together in a constructive way the council can make a noteworthy difference for all our Upper Providence residents."
