

Liz Piazza - Delaware County Council
Liz Piazza, a native of Newtown Square and graduate of Marple Newtown High School, was instilled with values and honesty, hard work, and the value of family from an early age. After high school Liz worked in the insurance sector and began raising her family and then as a single mom working in legal & mental heath sector while raising three children in Upper Providence Township where she still lives today.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies from Widener University Law Center, where she co-founded and led the first student paralegal association. Liz then embarked on a 19 plus year career with the County of Delaware in the Family Law Division, holding supervisory roles and earning recognition from the Bar Association/Family Law Section for her dedicated service in 2015. Liz also taught as an Adjunct Professor at Delaware County Community College for seven years in Paralegal Program.
Liz’s experiences have motivated her to run for Delaware County Council aiming to address as she did in her campaign last year for State Representative in 165th District, taxpayer, senior citizens and small business concerns, safety and security, education, combat the drug epidemic and support grandparents, children and families affected by it.
Liz currently works for her son’s small business and enjoys time with her family which includes twelve grandkids and a dachshund, Baxter.
